Today’s quote is this:

It used to be that I could look at you and see traces of the baby you once were. Now I look at you and instead catch glimpses of the man you will become.

I ran across this quote a few years ago and it hasn’t left my head since. It happened at a time when my oldest son was suddenly growing up. I found myself looking at him one day and realized the above statement was true. One day he was still a little guy and the very next I was seeing him as a grown man. As the years pass by this quote grows even more true. I chose to scrapbook our latest family pictures of just him and pair it with this quote.
