Hi everyone! I know, it seems like I dropped off the face of the planet again… I promise, that’s not the case. I’ve just had one heck of a month this January. Some big changes have taken place for me and I want to let you all know.
I had to make the regrettable decision to resign from Sunshine Studio Scraps. I just wasn’t happy with the way things were going there and it was clear it wasn’t going to work out for the long term. However, that decision was really easy to make because I was invited to become an exclusive designer for another SWEET little shop and I jumped at the offer! So, I am pleased to announce…..
I am really, really excited about the move to Digital Candy. The new owners, Rick and Kate, are just awesome, awesome people who really treat their designers and their customers like gold. Please follow me there – you’re going to love it! I’ll be trying to shop your store this week, but….guess what?? On my way home from my sisters after watching a great Superbowl, life was good! Until I stopped to get gas… after I got back in my car I tried to start it and NOTHING… no turn-over-sound, no nothing! It’s probably the starter. So I had to have my car towed and tomorrow I’ll probably get to pay upwards of $300 which is just what I needed, eh!??! However, I really do want to support your new store. I think you’re awesome and you’ve been sooo, sooo sweet to me. I am glad to know you and I love your designs. I’ll figure out what I can do and take it from there. I am not like “dirt poor” or anything… I am blessed with a great home, a beautiful family and I am so thankful for all I have. I just have to be a bit tight w/ the wallet until I am working again. I have worked everyday of my life since I graduated from college and now, it’s been 6 months since my layoff. It’s a crazy world right now. I know I don’t have to explain these things, I just wanted you to know that my lack of shopping is in no way an indication that I am not a big, big, big fan! I sooooo am!
