Hi everyone! I know you are all starting to get REALLY busy for the holidays and maybe the stress is starting to set in. Take it from me – try to take some time to stop and smell the roses! It’s pretty easy to end up with holiday burnout and that’s just no fun. So, take in a movie, take a drive and enjoy some Christmas light… go get a mani/pedi. Whatever it is, try to take a couple hours out for YOU this weekend! My hubby and I are very excited about the new movie Avatar coming out today. Provided we don’t get the dumping of snow that we *might* get later today, I think we’ll be trying to take a break from the craziness to try and enjoy some time together at the movies. Fingers crossed!
That all said, here are my new releases for this week! I tried to pack in everything I had been working on because next week, I will have no new releases, since Friday is Christmas Day. And we should all be with our families, enjoying the day, and not worrying about new digiscrap products, right? LOL. This week, I have released a bunch of stuff I’ve been promising to people for a while that just took me some time to get around to. So, its a good “basic” week… with some last-minute holiday fun and new blogwear rolled in. Read on!
Just Journalin’ volume 1 {template pack} by Trixie Scraps Designs
This one kinda came about after chatting with some of my Tweet followers this week. Seems there just aren’t enough good templates out there for non-photo layouts. And, since I have the gift of gab and occasionally turn out a journaling-only layout, I turned some of my favorites into templates for you! Four templates, all 12×12, 300dpi layered PSD files which also come with the individual layers saved as PNGs. While they were originally designed for journaling-only layouts, they can easily be adapted to include photos if that’s what you’d prefer to do. I got this to my girls really late this week, so no layouts to show off from the Stars, yet. But, I did receive a STUNNING layout from Jenny on the ScrapMatters design team. This uses a template from the set, plus a little bit from my kits Carly and Girls Day Out. I love Maya Angelou, so the writing Jenny included struck a chord with me, too!
Just the Basics: Bundle by Trixie Scraps Designs
This bundle came about after my beloved CT Manager, Bree, begged me numerous times to release a pack of basic, neutral papers. I think she was getting a bit sick of reaching for the same white patterned paper from You’re a Star all the time! LOL. So, since she was so patient and waited on me so long, I didn’t give her just one pack – she got THREE! The bundle comes with 8 papers each in white, black and neutral. It is sure to become a staple and is something every digiscrapper should have in their stash! If you collect my kits, you’ll find this bundle will be very versatile and will work with lots of them! Each paper pack is also available for separate purchase (and is linked below), but you’ll save 25% when you buy them in bundled form!

Again, I got done sorta late in the week with this stuff, so the girls didn’t have much time to play. Carrin, however, Miss Super Speedy, did get two layouts done for me! They are both adorable!
Girls Day Out Blogwear Set by Trixie Scraps and Twinderland Scraps
The next set of fabulous blogwear in our line – Twinderland Scraps has done it again! This set is done with pieces from my kit “Girls Day Out.” It may just be one of my favorites, yet! Girly and fun, its the perfect way to deck out a blog about YOU. Includes 3 backgrounds, 3 headers, 2 post dividers, 1 frame, 4 sidebar labels and complete installation instructions for BLOGGER. See the blogwear in action on the Girls Day Out demo blog!
Christmas Tags {element pack} by Trixie Scraps and Debra Pierce Designs
And finally, my Hybrid Artist Deb used my two Christmas kits to whip up this adorable little set of Christmas tags! It includes 16 tags, all saved as individual PNG files. You can fit about 8-10 of them to an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. For extra ease, print them out on sticker paper – then you just need to cut ’em out and stick ’em on! Best of all, if you are one of my newsletter subscribers, you can get this tag pack for FREE by using your subscriber coupon in the left-hand column of this newsletter.
