Hello everyone! Hope your Wednesday is fantastic so far. In today’s post we get to learn a little bit more about a fellow scrapper in the digi community. I was perusing the Trixie Scraps Gallery at ScrapMatters and came across some adorable things by LeeAndra and asked if she’d play along and she happily agreed!
LeeAndra is a 30 year old SAHM to her 9 month old daughter Eliana and her 7 year old stepson Tyler. Her and her husband Jeff live on the north side of Indianapolis where he works in the insurance business. She’s been digitally scrapping since Feb 2003, and when she’s not doing that or taking pictures, she loves to read, write, cook, travel, and spend time with her loved ones.
I also asked her a few additional questions:
1. What do you listen to when you scrap?
I scrap late at night, so I usually just have the TV on for background noise when I scrap.
2. What program do you prefer to use when you create? Why?
I use ancient Photoshop 7 to scrap. I think I might have tried PSE once a few years ago and quickly realized how much more PS could do.
3. What is one of your favorite elements to use?
I love a good stitch or alpha.
4. It’s late, you’re not quite ready for bed, and you have the munchies. What snack would you reach for?
Anything chocolate is fine by me!
5. What do you want to be when you grow up?
I wish I knew! At the moment, I am a SAHM, which I always wanted to do when I was younger, but as for a career outside that… no idea!
6. What led you to create with Trixie Scraps products?
It’s hard to come by brother-sister kits, and I really needed to scrap a photo of my stepson and my daughter, so Tracy’s kit was the perfect choice for me.
7. Girls night out or quiet evening at home?
I’m a homebody, but a GNO every once in awhile works, too.
8. What would your dream kit include (colors, elements, etc.)
Hmmm… gurly gurl kits are my fave, so lots of pinks and purples, glitter, stitching, a nice serif-y white alpha… that’d be a good start.
9. How would you describe your scrapbooking style?
Lots of white space, some journaling, traditional
10. What is something unique about you that would surprise us?
I don’t know if surprise is the right word so much as make you snicker would be, but I have a food texture issue that makes it impossible for me to eat room temperature bread, oatmeal, baked casseroles with bread crumbs, etc. *shudder*
11. What is your dream vacation location?
My cousin and I have vowed to take an Anne of Green Gables pilgrimage to Prince Edward Island, Canada one of these days, and I can’t wait for that!
I also wanted to include some of LeeAndra’s awesome layouts! Thanks for sharing LeeAndra.
