Hey folks… I’m sorry for the late post today… I’m not quite sure what happened. But I noticed Erica’s intended post for today was missing, so I’ve gone ahead and taken care of this. Again, my apologies its so late in the day! xoxo, Trixie
Hello everyone!! I am back today with another installment of Make-Over Monday. Every two weeks, someone will post a new challenge for you to makeover a layout with us. We encourage you to make a new layout using the same photos and at least 75% Trixie Scraps Designs products. Then, come here to our blog and post two links for us – one to the old layout and one to the new one! Every two weeks, we’ll choose one person who will win a FREE kit from Trixie’s shop. Sounds fun, right??
Once again, we only had one person play along and that was Amy! Here is both her original layout and her beautiful makeover using Trixie Scraps Defining Me. The image is linked to her makeover layout – please go leave her some love! Amy, one of the team will be in touch with your prize shortly! 🙂
Now I have so many layouts from when I first started digital scrapbooking that are, well not good. So every chance I get I remake those not so pretty ones and turn them into layouts that are higher quality, I do it. When I saw Tracy’s new kit with Sarah Bennett Old Glory, immediately these pictures of my son popped into my head. I have my kitchen decorated in the ‘Americana’ theme, so when he was only 18 months old I had these pictures taken of him to put in my kitchen. I really disliked my first layout that I made with these pictures, so I decided a “layout lift” was in order. I tried to keep the over all look to the layout the same, just updated. I even used Amanda’s very helpful trick on how to make the resolution of my photo a bit better. These are scanned in photos and the quality is very poor.

We would love for you play along. Show us your before and after layouts, who knows you might end up winning a free kit!!! We’ll see you in two weeks with another Makeover Monday winner and a new chance to makeover an old layout in need of a fresh look!
