All right Trixie Scraps fans…it’s time to continue on with our Build a Kit with Trixie Scraps project! If you missed out on the explanation last Saturday, here are the basics:
*Trixie Scraps wants to design a kit just for and inspired by you!
* Each week in July, we will complete one step in helping Trixie design a kit. You will have input on everything from colors to themes to elements and much more.
* Everyone who participates and submits suggestions will have their name entered into a drawing to win the kit once it’s completed. We will pick 5 winners! The rest of the participants will receive 50% off the kit should you choose to purchase it.
Last week we asked for color swatch ideas and had a great response. A big thanks to everyone who played along and suggested ideas last week. You are all entered into the drawing to win the kit Trixie designs from your suggestions! The majority of the responses seemed to ask for some combination of pink, purple, aqua and green. So, without further ado…Trixie Scraps has chosen the following color swatch (cue drum roll):
Now, for week two, we want you to take a good look at that amazing swatch and give us all your theme ideas that you think would match up perfectly. Remember, you’ll all be rewarded for your efforts. Also, don’t forget to leave us an email address so we can contact you with prize info.
Have fun!

I asked my husband about those colors and he said “The blue package of Skittles.”
So I vote Sweets/Candy

The palette brings to mind a summer garden with petunias in pinks/magentas and blues. But, no matter what you do with it, it’s a great palette! Best, Lori LorenaDigital.Designs@gmail.com

This is making me think of like a tropical cocktail party! With all kinds of cool cocktail glasses, fruity colored drinks, sugar-rimmed glasses, limes and lime wedges, stir-sticks, colorful umbrellas and such. It could be used for all kinds of fun summer layouts like bridal showers, luaus, parties, girls-night, etc. What a FUN FUN palette!
