We’re back with more kit building excitement! In case you haven’t been around and are curious what is going on, you, our fans have picked the color swatch for the kit and the theme for the kit. Today I was planning to show you a preview of what this kit is starting to look like, but Tracy has suffered a hard drive crash that has set her schedule back a bit. So, unfortunately I don’t have an in-progress preview for you today as planned, but Trixie will post one just as soon as she can! Keep checking back!
Meanwhile, this week, we want to know what type of alpha you would like to see in the kit – paper, metallic, glossy… type of font, etc. You can also continue suggesting elements and/or paper patterns. And, if you would like to see any “add-on” products, suggest those here as well! Trixie is going to have a busy week, pulling things from all your great suggestions and finishing up this kit. It’s going to be awesome! Next Saturday, we’ll come back and show you the finished kit and any add-on products Trixie may have made. AND, we’ll be announcing five winners of the kit! Everyone who has played along and made suggestions this month has a chance to win – you get one chance for each week you commented and played along! So, if you haven’t jumped in yet, its not too late – we want to hear from you! Please remember to leave us our email address so we can reward you for all of your hard work!
That isn’t all we’ve been hard at work on. We’ve had such a busy week here on our blog. I hope you’ve been playing along with us – we always have fun! Here is a quick recap in case you’ve missed it.
Monday was our Make Over Monday & we made over some of our old layouts. I love having the chance to redo my older layouts. This is a great way to do it.
I can’t wait to see what great ideas you have for the alpha, papers and elements for the kit we are all building. Don’t forget to leave your email addresses!
Thanks for stopping by today!

I love outlined alphas. Maybe Tracy can make one that is a cute casual alpha with a white outline, not at the very outside of the letter, but slightly in a little bit. I hope someone can visualize what I’m talking about, hehe, maybe I can find a link to post. Like Wendy’s new alpha pack has the kind of outline I’m talking about here: https://shop.scrapmatters.com/product.php?productid=5404&cat=0&page=1. BUT, in a font like this one, I really like the shape of this one: https://shop.scrapmatters.com/grass-alpha.html
Maybe one set in each of the different colors of the palette, a pink one, a green one, a purple one, a teal one, etc. If she is making colored sugar rimmed drink glasses like some people have suggested, it might also be fun to make a couple different colors of a sugared alpha! I think a lemon and lime border cluster would be a cute add-on.

I love glossy alpha, maybe with a border around it (for example if the alpha was purple you’d have a white border around the letters, making it stand out a bit more)maybe something along the font of comic sans, maybe in a bright purple or pink or white…
I’d love to see more patterned papers with grids on them..the small grids, or even a grid overlay that we can add to the papers.

I like chunky alphas, also with some sort of a border or outline to really make the alpha pop. I love the idea of a sugar-rimmed alpha, which was suggested. I’d love to see some real tropical, fun colors! I also really like word art which is outlined in white.
