Are you ready for another Fun Font Friday?? This time I picked out TWO fonts since today is my birthday!!! So, for the occassion, I selected a PARTY font and one with my name…Lisa!
Easily Amused is such a great celebration font for all kinds of party themes like 4th of July, birthday parties and wouldn’t it be great for layouts about your little star doing a performance? I can see it used for title work with ballet, sports and theater pages!! The possibilities are endless! I love how the stars are integerated right into the font. For the banner below I filled the font with a paper!
I scrapped my daughter’s 5th birthday invitations again this year and used a handwriting font on a darker background. After picking them up from the printers I wished I had used a thicker font. It was hard to read. So, I found a nice, thick handwriting font that happened to be my name and thought “I have to share this with the Trixie Scraps readers!!”. SF Lisa is from https://www.suguarfrogfonts.com/. You’ll find it if you scroll near to the bottom of the first screen, it is in the October 5, 2009 grouping! Have you seen this place?? Ellie and Ivy started it up and I’ve got quite a collection of fonts from them now. Ellie, of Ellie Lash Designs, has some amazing handwriting, swirlies, doodles, etc. in her kits and many of the fonts on this site remind me of that! Be sure to look them all over, you might just find a few faves!
Here is a layout made using Old Glory by Trixie Scraps and Sarah Bennet featuring both fonts! I used SF Lisa for the journaling and you can click the LO for credits. Enjoy your new fonts!!!
