Welcome to Makeover Monday! This will be a bi-monthly feature here on our team blog where we’ll encourage you to dig through that hard drive and find a layout you don’t like so much, then give it a FABULOUS makeover using Trixie Scraps Designs products!

So, here’s how this will work… every two weeks, we’ll be challenging you to makeover a layout with us. We encourage you to make a new layout using the same photos and at least 75% Trixie Scraps Designs products. Then, come here to our blog and post two links for us – one to the old layout and one to the new one! Every two weeks, we’ll choose one person who will win a FREE kit from Trixie’s shop. Sounds fun, right??

So, since I am the host this week, I decided to makeover this layout:

I loved the flowers in the pictures but wasn’t in love with the color scheme, titlework and didn’t feel that it captured the overall happy springy feel of the garden of flowers.

And now, here is the brand new layout!

I brightened and cut up the pictures into different shapes for a bit more interest, added more interesting nature elements and highlighted the colors in the Nature Girl kit (psst- it’s also on sale along with the entire Trixie Scraps store during ScrapMatter’s Birthday sale!)
