Trista here with a brand new edition of Who Are You? Wednesday. We are going to get to know one of our Guest Stars! Let’s get up close and personal with Janine!

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Janine, and I live in Texas with my husband and four year old son. I am a teacher and I love to spend time with my family, scrapbook, read, and watch television.

When did you begin digiscrapping?
I started digital scrapbooking about four and a half years ago after my son was born.

Where do you find inspiration?
I find my inspiration through looking in the gallery, at magazines, and just wherever the pictures take me sometimes.

What is the one design tool you couldn’t do without?
The one design too that I couldn’t live without is the shape tool, I have come to love it lately to create shapes and clip papers to them.

What is your favorite element to use?
I love staples and all kinds of fasteners as well as stitching.

When do you scrap?
I scrap in the afternoon when I get off work sometimes but mostly in the evening after my son goes to bed.

Do you listen to music when you scrap?
Most of the time I do listen to music when I scrap to get me pumped up and the energy flowing.

What kind of music do you listen to while you scrap?
I listen to a variety of different music from country, to pop, to some Disney tunes.

Do you snack while you scrap?
Sometimes I snack if I’m hungry, but usually not because it is distracting.

What is your favorite Trixie Scraps kit?
My favorite Trixie Scraps kit is her collab with Designs by Sarah Bennett Sunday Afternoon, I love the gorgeous elements and soft colors.

Why is it your favorite?
This is my favorite layout because it contains two of my favorite things my son, and my favorite color purple. As well as showing our Disney trip which was a major highlight for us this summer.
