Hello, it’s me Sheila and I am bringing you a little TTT today. I often wonder why there were so many layouts in the digiworld that was really awesome and full of color. I then began giving my layouts an extra sharpening, like I do my photos. WOW, a great improvement. This is what I have done before posting to my galleries.

I use CS2 photoshop

1. FLATTEN your page (layout) as a jpg file, the big one (3600×3600).

2. DUPLICATE the page (layout) in the layers pallete.

3. Set the duplicate layer to soft light , again in your layers palette.

4. Then go to FILTER <> High PASS set the number to 10 for such big files and the merge the layers and SAVE.

To save for the web

1. Change the size to 600×600 and save for the web: FILE>SAVE FOR WEB

2. You will be taken to another screen. To the right look for QUALITY: change the QUALITY to a number where it keeps it close to 150KB. This is usually around 65, click SAVE and then name your file.

This is a step that I do for my pictures. This will make your pictures shine as well as those eyes. Just play around with your HIGH PASS number since your photos are a smaller file.
