Hello Trixie Scraps Fans! Welcome to the Sunday Spotlight where we get to know some very special people involved behind the scenes as well as you fans who support Trixie Scraps Designs. Today, it is my turn to chose a special person to spotlight and I chose Lisa, our Special Agent Captain. Here is a little Q&A to help us get to know her a little better.
When and how did you get involved in digital scrapbooking?
I stumbled upon digital scrapbooking in June 2007. My DH purchased Adobe Premiere Elements, and it came bundled with Photoshop Elements. I did some Googling for info on how to use it and discovered digital scrapbooking. I was immediately hooked.
What is your favorite aspect of digital scrapbooking?
Being able to undo! No more stressing about cutting those photos and papers. Don’t like it? No problem! Ctrl+Z is my friend.
How did you get involved with Trixie Scraps?
I’ve been a Trixie Scraps fan ever since she joined the team at ScrapMatters. When she had a CT call this past summer, I took the leap and applied.
What is your favorite Trixie Scraps product?
Yuletide is one of my favorites.
What are your favorite non-scrapping hobbies?
I love photography, knitting, reading, singing, traveling, baking, and decorating my children’s birthday cakes. I’m a wannabe quilter, too. There just aren’t enough hours in the day though!
Do you have any “must haves” when you scrapbook? A drink? snack? music?
There’s usually some type of chocolate involved, and therefore also a glass (or two) of milk.
What scrapping program do you use? PC or a Mac?
I scrap with Photoshop CS4 on a PC.
Where do you find the most inspiration for your layouts?
I love browsing some of the digiscrap galleries, and looking through scrapbooking magazines for ideas. I’m a very clean and simple scrapper though. Symmetry is good! I don’t tend to have many extra embellishments on my pages.
If you were stranded on an island, what 3 luxuries would you like to have?
A Nikon D90 DSLR with some fabulous lenses, a laptop, and a strawberry margarita.
What are your favorite colors to scrap with?
Deep, rich colors (the dark greens, blues, purples).
Where is your favorite spot to vacation?
My favorite vacations have probably been Norway and Hawaii. We’re looking forward to going to places like Yellowstone and Washington D.C. with our family sometime in the future.
Will you share a couple of your favorite layouts?
