Hello, welcome to Triple T Tuesday. Can you believe it, it is the last day of November. Where has this year gone? Hard to believe that the jolly old man will be here in 26 days. I know, I had to bring it up right?
Today, my tip is about getting more use from your alpha stash. I have a huge problem with my journaling and using alphas. I wanted to try something new for my journaling and using alphas is one of them. I know, alphas can be used for so many things, titles, journaling, wordart and such, I just don’t do it. So, for this month, my goal is to journal AND use alphas. Well, I figured out an awesome way to change things up a bit. How about 3D alpha? Yep, thats right, lets make it 3D! It is as easy as 1-2-3, in CS2. I am sure that it can be done in just about all editing programs.
* In CS2 I open a new file(I am sure this can be eliminated), usually 6×4.* I then find the alpha that I want to use. I drag my first letter to the open file. Then while pushing that ALT and left arrow key several times, I will then get a 3D effect. After you are finished, MERGE the layers together.* Do this step for all your alpha letters. Play around with them, add shadows, layer, twist and turn them. The possibilities are endless.
I hope that you like this quick tip from me. I hope that I see lots of fun and creative ways to add 3D to your alphas. I might even mange to try this on some elements.
Before I go, I wanted to mention that it is $1 Pixels day at Gotta Pixel again and today, Trixie Scraps has the following products on sale for just $1 each… but, it’s only for today, so grab it while you can!
