Tis the season for holiday presentations! Whether you visit the Rockettes at Rockefeller Center every year or head down the street to watch the children in your family in a local presentation these make great photo opportunities. Some photo ideas include the process of getting ready, outside the event venue, inside waiting for the presentation to start. If you’ll be taking pictures in the venue, remember to turn off your flash and bring a telephoto lens for your DSLR. Take lots of pictures and make sure to get a few wide-angle shots of the whole stage as well as close ups of the performers. After the performance be sure to capture any special dinners, flowers for the star, or other special post-performance activities.
