There’s 12 days until Christmas and if your house is like mine, the kids have started asking 4 or 5 times a day how many days are left. The easiest way to help them watch the time pass and save your sanity is to make an Advent calendar to count down the days. All you need is some cardstock and your favorite Trixie Scraps Digital kit. Print a full sheet of two or three of the papers. Cut each sheet into strips (you’ll need 12) and then use the papers to make a pretty paper chain to count the days. To really make it an interactive activity, write a prompt on each strip. When you take a link off of the chain every day, just follow the instructions for family fun.
