Sheila here bringing a quick tip. As a mom, I take alot of photos. I will put them on the computer and they sometimes sit there for some time. So, instead of leaving all the pictures on the computer, I do one thing, I shrink the size of my photos in CS2. Sometimes my files have 200 pictures in them. This can be time consuming to resize, so with a few steps, I can shrink all the pictures to a size that I want. I usually shrink the size down to 4×6 or 1800×1200 pixels. Here is how I do it:
Open CS2
> go to file>scripts>image processor
> Another screen will open. You will have 3 steps:
1. select folder
2. Where you want to save the new smaller files. I usually save them in the same location.
3. Size and type of file. You want to save in JPEG and choose the size. A good size is a 4×6 at 1800×1200.
Now click on the RUN .. depending on your computer, this may take a few minutes. Now go to your file and all your pictures should be 4×6 in a seperate file. You can thing delete the originals or keep for larger prints. If your photo is not in landscape, it may be a bit smaller. This is great for those photos of the kids that you want to scrap. A real time saver. Hope that you all enjoyed this little tip.
