Hello everyone and welcome to another Triple T Tuesday! I know that when I started out, there were so many words and acronyms on the forums that I had no idea what they meant! Today I’m going to tell you what some of the most common are!

LO – Layout. This is the page you create.

CT/CTM – Creative Team/Creative Team Member. Designers have scrappers who work with their designs to help promote them to the rest of the digiscrapping world.

PU – Personal Use. Most designers products are for personal use only, which means that you cannot sell or give away any part of it. You can only use it for scrapping your personal pages.

CU – Commercial Use. Some designers make commercial use products, which you can in turn use to make things you will sell.

S4H/S4O – Scrap for Hire/Scrap for Others. Some designers allow you to use their products to create layouts for someone else. Scrap for Hire, you are generally paid for the service of scrapping these pages. Scrap for Others, you typically are scrapping for friends or family at no charge.

TOU– Terms of Use. Each designer has a Terms of Use file in each kit they sell/give away. It outlines what you can and cannot do with the products you have purchased/downloaded. This is something very important to pay attention to.

RAK – Random Act of Kindness. Sometimes you enter to win, such as a thread posted on a forum, other times you will be randomly gifted with something from a designer, perhaps because they see you wearing their blinkie in your signature.

Scraplift – Taking inspiration from another person’s page. Usually you copy all or part of the layout. Remember, if you do this, credit the page you lifted from!

GSO – Gallery Stand Out. Many forums and sites have a gallery for you to display your pages. Others go through the galleries and will post pages that really stood out to them.

LOTD/LOTW – Layout of the Day/Layout of the Week. Some sites have Layouts of the Day, where one layout is chosen as the outstanding layout for that day. Layout of the Week is a layout that chosen as the outstanding layout for that week.
