Hi everyone! Welcome to another Triple T Tuesday! As I was browsing the gallery trying to get an idea of what to talk about today, I noticed a lot of scrappers using decorative edges…especially scalloped edges! It kind of reminded me of my scissor stash I have from my paper scrapping days! I have a pretty simple scrapping style myself, and I am always looking for simple ways to add a little something to my page. Adding a scalloped edge to a page, or a pretty scalloped frame is the perfect way to do this. Let’s take a look a few creative ways to use these.
April 2011 Recital is beautiful layout by Stacy. I love how the black and white layered scallops frame that perfect photo!
Love these edges on the purple paper on Amy’s Forever and Owlways layout, adding a touch of elegance to her page.
Using a scalloped edge is a great way to make your paper stand out, especially when working with stacked papers like Carrin did on her Out In the Sun layout.
Next time you’re looking to add a little something to your page, why not try adding a decorative edge or two! And if you want a little help getting those scalloped edges, Trixie has some awesome templates in her shop.
Hope you all have a wonderful week, and Happy Scrapping!
