We always make a special trip around town this time of year to see all of the wonderful Christmas decorations. Our Old Town area has all kinds of displays up and a scheduled Christmas Stroll that blocks traffic, which makes for a fun evening. Our drive around town is extra special because it’s the one night we let the kids eat in the car! They each get a small snack and a covered drink to bring along.

You can even get daytime pictures of some holiday displays, so you don’t have to worry about blurry pictures and correct exposure for night time lights. If you go at night, rest your camera on the window opening with the car stopped to prevent camera shake and get a nice crisp image of your favorite display.
