Many people travel to see family this time of year. Every Mom knows that these trips don’t just happen! There’s a ton of planning and packing and more planning. Scan or photograph your packing lists and special trip to-do list. Take pictures of the mountains of pre-trip laundry, folded clothes and overstuffed suitcases. Get a shot of the tetris-like packing in the back of your car.

Pictures at the airport or in the car on the trip make great additions to the story of your trip as well. Jot down what travel games you played, things you talked about and how you all passed the time. On your way home, make a note to remember if your vacation was absolute perfection or more like National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
