Welcome to December! I am so excited to get another December Daily album started – it is truly my most favorite project of the year!
Thanksgiving is over, Black Friday is behind us and most of us are probably looking ahead to Christmas. Or, maybe you are like me and start looking ahead to Christmas in August.
Either way, Christmas Season has officially started and today, December Daily begins as well. If you have questions about December Daily, what it is or how it works, be sure to read the frequently asked questions post from 2010.
If you are interested in creating a December Daily album for 2011 it’s not too late!
Trixie has several Christmas kits that work well for this project. The hardest part is choosing a favorite!
I always suggest working with only one or two coordinating kits to give your album a unified look and make creating a new page or two per day as simple as possible.
For the first day of December, I would encourage you to find some quiet time in your schedule and take a look at the upcoming month. December, more than any other month it seems, can quickly become filled with activities, parties, plays, concerts, and responsibilities. Look ahead and see what to expect.
If you like, create a calendar page for your album and note the special events and activities for the
month.
Here’s my page created with Winter on the Mountain:
And one from Scrap Star Carrin using 31 Days Has December:

I think I may try a December daily this year, love the calendar pages here. Just wondered where you got the calendar portion from.

I made mine using a 5 pixel paint tool and holding down Shift to give me a straight line. I am not sure about Carrin, though I will ask her!
We’d love to see your pages too!

I missed out on the beginning of this, but am starting on the day 4 download. I would also like to ask about the calendar page. Is there a way to get the grid as a template? I am not as talented as you all in making these things!
