Saturday With The Stars: Happy Homebody

Welcome to another week of Saturday with the Stars.

Let me ask you a question…how many of you are homebody’s out there? I’m not so much of a homebody, but my husband sure is. So, whether you’re a homebody or not, this weeks kit is sure to please you all for scrapping those pages about home.

This week our stars worked with Happy Homebody, a collab kit with North Meets South Studios. I love the colors in this kit and it almost makes me want to be a homebody.

Shauna’s page is full of pictures I’m sure anyone who’s ever had a home built has. It’s exciting to check out the progress and take pictures as it goes. Plus you get the kids to pose for you and you’re all set. I also love Shauna’s cluster work and her choice of elements.

Stacey’s layout has me wanting to travel to the same place she did and get my own cottage on the lake. I love that Stacey used this kit to scrap her ‘dream home’. I think we all have ‘dream homes’. I love the way she placed her pictures and the way it looks like a panoramic shot.

Then comes the other Stacy and I love her page. I’ve always been afraid to scrap a page without a photo, but Stacy did it wonderfully. She was able to use it for some really heartfelt journaling and was able to describe what coming home really meant to her. She filled the rest of the page with some awesome cluster work.

Erica used the kit to scrap bringing home a baby for the first time. What an excellent idea. Though it may not be your first home, it will be baby’s first home, and it’s definitely an event that needs to be scrapped. This layout also came together so nicely that Erica was able to include lots of photos and still have room for journaling. (I’m really big into journaling, if you haven’t figured that out yet.)

And last, but certainly not least – I love when Trixie gets time to scrap a page. She never ceases to amaze. I love her blended photo and that she used most of the page to journal like Stacy did. Her title work is beautiful and I love the way this layout came together.
