Happy Tuesday!  Jennifer B. here with today’s Masters Monday post.  This post will be a little bit trend and a little bit tip.  This past summer I discovered Pinterest.  I was warned it was addictive, and I held out as long as possible, but boy, am I glad I finally jumped on that bandwagon!!  I have found so many ideas for everything from recipes to organizing to crafts to do with my kids.  One area I’m really starting to see some growth in is digi-scrapping.  I’m finding Pinterest is a great place to keep all my digiscrapping wishlists, kits I have, inspirations, and ideas all in one place.

For example, did you know that in the Trixie Scraps store, each item has a link at the bottom of the page to pin it?

I have two boards where this comes in handy – one called My Trixie Scraps Kits where I can easily browse through the preview images of all of Trixie’s kits I own.  This is so handy when I’m ready to work with some pictures and want to browse through by digi-stash to find the perfect kit to use.  I have another board called Wish Lists where I pin all the kits I want to get.  In the comments section, I include ideas about what I want to use that kit for or other coordinating accessories like cardstock or cluster packs I want to get to go with it.

I have another board called Digi-Inspiration that I use when browsing the Trixie Scraps gallery.

If I see a page I just love and there’s some part of it I want to lift, I pin it there.  Maybe it’s the theme, a color scheme, or a technique.  Again, I make notes in the comments about what it was that I liked about that particular page.

One of my favorite boards on Pinterest to follow is the Creative Team Inspiration board. This is where the Trixie Scraps Creative Team comes to post their layouts.  I love looking at all the team members’ pages in one spot, and you can see right underneath them what kit and/or template they used to make it.

Pinterest can be a great tool to help with your organization and inspiration.  You just might want to consider setting a timer so you don’t spend toooo much time being inspired!
