Saturday With The Stars: October Templatetopia

Welcome to another Saturday. It’s time for another look at what our Stars did with October’s Templatetopia that was released yesterday.

This template pack has 16 templates to work with, which means you could have 16 layouts done in no time flat! Here’s what some of our Stars did with the templates.

Mary Kate made such a fun layout with fun snapshots. I love the papers she used in this layout. The light blue background gave way for use of busier papers behind the photos. I also enjoy all the elements she used on this page.

Warning: If you get baby hungry easily – you don’t want to see this layout…Okay, yes you do. It is so cute and it seriously makes me baby hungry. Carrin’s use of very subtle background colors helps make the photo stand out. The photo is a good one to have as well, because it shows just how tiny her baby is.

Stacey is another Star that used subtle backgrounds to help her photo stand out as well as being able to incorporate a few other papers without overwhelming the page. I love the sewn circle photo and the elements Stacey used.

One of our guests for October made great use of one of Trixie’s newest kits, One Haunted Evening. The photo in Jan’s layout is quite bold, but the way she used this kit helped keep the photo the focal point and she did a great job to not make this layout way overwhelming with a bunch of color.

Rounding out this week’s Saturday With The Stars is a layout from another guest, Kim. If you have lots of photos to scrap, like Kim did, the template Kim used is perfect. I love all the action shots she has and how she was able to include so many on one layout. Her element choices don’t distract from the layout and I love her title work.
