So here we are, the last weekend of October. For me that means one thing: Halloween! Now while the actual big day isn’t until Wednesday, this weekend definitely rings in the festivities with parties and costumed events everywhere you look. All of this Halloween spirit made me super excited to take a second look at the brand new Halloween themed kit released by North Meets South Studios this year, One Haunted Evening.
The elegant colors and elements in this kit make it extremely versatile, and our Stars truly proved that in our first look at this kit, but today I want to focus on those awesome Halloween layouts. First off, we have a fun one by Shauna capturing some of her Halloween decor. I love the contrast of the creepy skeleton photo surrounded by the floral cluster on her frame. And those webs peeking out are just fabulous.
Next up is this neat one from Lori. I love the stamped haunted house on that sparkly spider web background. The few elements that she chose to add to the layout compliment the photo so well, and the banner along the bottom really ties them together. The star cluster looks fantastic too.
Stacy has captured some gorgeous photos of her little girl all dressed up for Halloween. Have you ever seen a more darling Snow White? Her composition is just perfect, and I love the cutouts of patterned papers on the solid background. Fabulous title work, and a couple of floral clusters round out the layout just perfectly. Absolutely lovely.
Halloween is a great time to monkey around, and Laina shows us just that with this adorable layout featuring her little monkey. I love that she has managed to highlight so many photos on this page without it looking too busy or clustered. By arranging all of the elements and photos vertically and leaving ample white space on the rest of the page the photos really remain the focus. I really love the title work and the journaling she has included on this page too.
Talk about four awesome layouts to put you in the Halloween spirit. Lastly today I just had to feature one non-Halloween element. This gorgeous layout by Carrin caught my eye in every gallery it was in. The photos are just absolutely stunning, and as the tile implies, spellbinding. The blended photo in the background is used to stunning effect, and she has added just enough clustering to the page to give it that special touch without drawing attention away from the photos. Absolutely beautiful.
I hope you all enjoyed this second look at One Haunted Evening. Be sure to go pick it up to scrap all of your special Halloween memories.
