Welcome to October everybody, and to all of you Trixie Scraps fans in Canada, Happy Thanksgiving weekend. It’s Jackie here again with your monthly edition of Special Request Sunday. Last month we asked all of you to share with us what inspires you for your chance to win a Trixie Scraps kit of your choice. The random number generator over at random.org has helped me out with selecting a winner and I’m happy to announce that Brenda won her selected kit We Love Soccer.
Please leave us a Help Ticket message with your email address so that we can send you back a coupon to pick up your prize! You can enter your ticket here: https://www.trixiescraps.com/support.
Now that we’ve entered October, I think it’s pretty safe to say that we have officially hit fall. It’s the season of harvest, cooler weather, and the change of the leaves. That leads me to this months topic. We want to hear your suggestions for a color palette for a FALL kit. Leave us a comment with your suggestion and be sure to tell us which kit you would like to win. Be sure to include your email address too so that we know where to reach you. One lucky winner will be selected at the beginning of next month.
Good luck!

Hi
I would love to see a fall kit with all the traditional colors associated with thoughts of autumn. The oranges, yellows, and red colors of the leaves of the trees. The greens of the evergreens that contrast so nicely with the rampant fall color (can you tell I live in an area where the fall foliage is amazing, lol). Also the blues – the bright blue of a lake on a cloudless day, the darker blue and stormy grey-blue of a day where the sun is a little more intermittent. Some purples to reflect both eggplant and the grapes ripening on the vines. The reds and greens of granny smith apples ready to be picked off the trees. I know I mentioned the orange color of the trees but there is also the orange color of ripened squash and the multicolor of Indian corn. Lastly, some browns shades ranging from the beige-brown of the turnip to the dark brown of tree trunks. Autumn has so many colors, it’s hard to know where to stop.
I would love to have the kit Blue Christmas. Our Canadian Thanksgiving is over so thoughts are now turning towards the holiday season.
Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful kit. Have a great day.

I have seen so many kits lately with the traditional “fall/autumn” colors I was thinking of fall weather where the sky gets darker earlier and the rain starts. So I was thinking of some grays and silvers then adding some fall colors like purple and yellow signifying the color of the leaves changing. A bit of green for leaves, maybe a blue green and I think this would make a beautiful kit. I have most of your kits but there is one I would love to add to my collection and that is: Renaissance Romance. Thanks for the opportunity!
