Sunday Spotlight: andastra

Welcome to another Sunday Spotlight. One Sunday, every month, we like to recognize some stand-outs in the gallery and get to know them just a little bit better. While looking through the gallery I found I was drawn to all of andastra’s pages. Look at the wonderful page she created using Blush Beauty.

I seriously love all the circles in that layout. From the photo all the way down to the embellishments used. Andastra was so nice to answer a few questions for us.

To get us started, can you tell us a little more about yourself?

I am a mom of two beautiful girls and wife of a wonderful husband. We live in a small town near Nuremberg in Germany. Our girls have two guinea pigs.

I love that we have members in the gallery from outside of the US. I also think it’s great that you allow your girls to have guinea pigs – they’re too close to rats to be liked in this household. Can you tell us how you got into digital scrapbooking?

I’ve always liked to tinker. By chance I came to digital scrapbooking. The computer games on the computer were boring and I surfed the net and found a great article about digital scrapbooking. I had to start immediately.

Isn’t that just so true, once you get drawn into digital scrapbooking, you have to start immediately. There’s just something about it. Being that you were so immediately drawn into digi scrapbooking, what is your favorite Trixie Scraps kit?

It´s hard to choose. They are all amazing! I love her Summer Lovin’ kit; Natural Beauty kit and Oceanside kit.

Those are all wonderful kits. I can tell that you’re a woman after my own heart. Tell us how you found Trixie Scraps.

On a freebie site, I found the link to Trixie’s blog and was immediately hooked.

Trixie’s kit have a way of pulling you in. Now that we know which kit’s are your favorite and how you found Trixie Scraps, can you tell us a little bit about what you like to scrap about and what inspires you?

I love to scrap about my girls. I´m inspired by nature, by great kits, my family and friends.

Yup, definitely a woman of my own heart. Is there anything else you like to do while you scrap?

I listen to music or sing.

I swear you could be my twin. There’s just something about music and scrapping that seem to go together. For our last question, can you please tell us what your favorite layout is that you’ve created with one of Trixie’s kits?

It’s ‘Serenity’

I can certainly see why that’s one of your favorite layouts and I love the title of it. Nicely done.
