Saturday With The Stars: Heart Of A Friend

Welcome to another Saturday, Trixie Fans. We’re a bit late today getting our Saturday With The Stars up, but better late than never – right?

We have a special treat for you today. It’s Trixie’s newest kit made for GGI and it was just very recently released at Gotta Pixel. The kit is called Heart Of A Friend and it is a super cute kit. I love all the flower elements in it and the colors. The papers are another fun addition.

So let’s see what our stars have put together using this kit.

Shauna’s layout is a tribute to her sister. I love all the circles in this layout and the way Shauna was able to use so many different papers. I love her title work and her journaling makes me laugh. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and funny.

Laina’s layout is a perfect layout for random pictures of little girls. I love her use of white space and all the hearts she used. Her clustering leaves me speechless.

I enjoy the whole feel of Shawna’s layout. The whole layout is a look I’ve never seen before. I like how the picture is off to one side of the layout and the way she added the clusters in opposite corners. I enjoy the papers she used and the way she matched the papers with the flowers she used.

I like that Mary Kate used a photo frame for the main focal point of the layout, but that she also included a photo strip and the picture melded into the background. I love that the dance uniform closely matches one of the papers Mary Kate chose to use, it helps tie the page all together.
