Happy weekend everyone! I am super excited to be sharing this Saturday with the Stars with you today as we will be featuring a brand new North Meets South Studios Kit. I hope you’re ready for a little magic in your life because that’s what this kit is all about. Say hello to Tricky Tricky.
Isn’t it adorable? I just love that cute little bunny popping out of the hat and those awesome magic trick elements. I’m also loving the colors in this kit, it is a great gender neutral palette, so it is just perfect for all sorts of different photos. As always Trixie’s Scrap Stars had a blast playing with this new kit. I had a rough time of it, but I’ve narrowed it down to just a few to share with you today.
Based on these photos, I can only imagine that Stacey was thrilled with the theme of this new kit. What a fun idea for a sixth birthday party. It looks like the kids had a great time, and the elements that were used to highlight the action are just perfect. I really love the title work on this page and all of the fun patterned papers too.
I love Lori’s use of white space on this next page. The card element that she has used as a mat for the photo is fabulous, and mimics the costumes in the photo so well. The contrast of the black background with all the little bright patterned paper cutouts behind the photo is a great technique to really draw the eye in the the picture.
Stacy does a great job of highlighting the special star in her life on this page with lots of fun clustering around the central images. That fun star-y background paper combined with the title of this page are just magical together. I really love the way the yellow of the border and the star elements makes the yellow in the picture pop too.
This is such a fun topic for a page. I love how Candy featured a special meal out with this kit. This truly shows how versatile this kit can be, as there are plenty of non-themed items that can be used to great effect. The simple little clusters that she created work perfect with that large photo, and I really like the single sentence of journaling. It is just enough to remind you of why the photo is so special.
This last page by Bethie makes me feel like I am looking at an optical illusion. I really love that most of this page is in black and white, with just a few hints of color in the elements. It really makes the colorful toy in the photo pop. The sunburst paper really draws the eye into the center of the page perfectly.
These are just a few examples of the clever pages that can be created with this kit. Be sure to head to the North Meets South Studios Store at Gotta Pixel or Scrapbook-Bytes to pick up Tricky Tricky. If you act fast, there is a BOGO sale on until Tuesday, February 26 and if you buy the kit you can get the Tricky Tricky template pack for 50% off. Checkout how in both stores.
