Happiest of Saturday’s to you our Trixie Fans. Welcome to another Saturday With The Stars.
The kit our stars worked with for this week, is perfect for this month. Full of greens and everything else associated with St. Patrick’s Day, here’s a look at Lucky Me.
Like most kits Trixie cranks out, this kit is so very versatile. If you don’t believe me, just take a look at what the stars have done.
Carrin’s layout has just the right amount of green, but is accented wonderfully with other colors. I love the arrows that draw attention to her photos. I also like her cluster along the bottom portion of her page.
I love all that Jessica was able to include in her layout. She used so many papers and I love that they all work together. I love the story that goes along with her layout and it’s amazing that she got her photos placed just so that it almost looks as if it’s all part of one larger photo.
I like that Kris used this layout for something other than a lucky themed page. I love all the papers and ribbons she used as well. I really like the way she framed her photos with the center one slighty skewed and matted with a glittered paper.
Kassie’s layout is super fun. Her page has the Project Life feel to it and I love the way she skewed all of her photos. Something else that really stuck out to me with Kassie’s page is the fact that she used a lot of the journaling cards to list the reasons she feels lucky to be her children’s mom.
Stacey used this kit for a Valentine’s Day happening. I love that she chose this kit and not something based in pinks and reds. I enjoy all the blocks of paper in each of the corners and the way she used the middle portion for her title and journaling.
Don’t wait until St. Patty’s Day to grab this kit. Our stars have proven that there are so many uses for Lucky Me, make it work for you. And as always, remember to share your work in the gallery. We love seeing it.
