Welcome Trixie Scraps fans to another incredible Saturday With the Stars. I’ve got a fabulous new release to show off to you today, and I just can’t wait, this kit is GORGEOUS. So, say hello to what I’m sure will be a new favorite Trixie Scraps kit for many of you, Prima Ballerina.
This kit was created for the Grab-A-Byte sale this month at Scrapbook-Bytes, and I’m so glad that this color palette provided such incredible inspiration. All the soft pinks and grays are so perfect for this ballerina theme. The patterned papers and ballerina silhouettes are so elegant, and the huge variety of flowers is amazing. I’m sure you can see why the Scrap Stars were all snapping this kit up to play with as soon as they saw it. Let’s take a look at some of the lovely layouts they created.
I absolutely love the blending that Mary Kate has done on this page. It looks so natural on the background paper, and the close-up photo of her little girl all set for dance class is adorable. I absolutely love the cluster work she has done on the frame, and the pretty little flowers at the top of the page. That great title is a perfect finishing touch.
Shauna put the embossed paper in this kit to fabulous use as a mat for this page. I love how it anchors the layout. The composition of the photos, and the clustered border running along the bottom of them is beautiful. Not to mention the gorgeous ballerina featured in those photos. The title suits the images to a tee, and the fun glittery frames around the images are really eye-catching.
I have such a soft spot for photoless layouts, and Helen S has done a terrific job on this one. Scrapbooking is all about documenting memories, and we don’t always have the perfect photo to capture the sentiment that we want to record. Great journaling can be the foundation of an absolutely beautiful page. The thing I really love about this layout is that the gorgeous clustering really draws your eye into the journaling.
The black and white photo really is the star of this page by Jessica. I also really like the inset color photo showing of her little girl’s fancy footwork. The bold cluster work at the bottom of the page is fabulous too. I’m a sucker for glitter, so that title is absolutely spot on in my books.
Our last layout for today is by Carrin, featuring some special guest assistance from her adorable daughter. I absolutely love the photos of her little girl in that cute recital costume. According to Carrin, her daughter was in love with that pretty pink frame, and the way that the ballerina is arranged to look like she is holding up that top photo. I also really love those pointe shoes hanging off of the title.
I’m sure by this pointe (pun intended), you’re all as in love with this kit as I am. The Grab-A-Byte sale runs until April 14, so be sure to stop by Trixie’s part of this shop and pick it up while it’s on sale.
