Happiest of Saturdays to you Trixie fans. It’s time for another round of Saturday With The Stars. While there isn’t a new kit to show off this week, our Stars have still been busy. Here’s a peek at what some of our Stars have done recently, hopefully it’ll give you all some new inspiration…
With August 2013 Templatetopia released earlier this month, some of our Stars have still been creating wonderful layouts with it. MK & Jennifer are two who completed a layout recently.
MK’s layout makes me happy. I am loving the new house and wish it were mine. She has some beautiful cluster work surrounding her photo and I really like the set of keys along the bottom part of the blue strip of paper. Her shadowing of the keys really makes them look real. She used the kit Homeward Bound, a now retired kit, for this layout.
Jennifer’s blended photos are wonderful. I love the subtle way it makes those photos appear. She has a wonderful use of accent and I really enjoy the way she did her title as well. For her layout she used the kit, That’s My Boy.
Jessica breathed some new life into one of my fave kits from earlier this year, Social Butterfly. I love that Jessica chose to scrap about all the Birthday wishes she received from Facebook. It’s something that never occurred to me to scrap. I love that she took screen shots from Facebook and included them in this layout. She also put some amazing clusters together in this layout.
Finally, Helen made great use of some photos from a recent trip using the collab kit, Sailor Duck. I love the way this kit meshed so well with Helen’s layout. I really enjoy the way Helen put her title together, especially the rope going through both lines of words. She made great use of the elements she used and I love that she put Donald’s signature in her layout as well.
So, even though it may look as nothing’s been going on in the Trixie Scraps world, there’s a lot going on behind the scene. Our Stars are always doing something. Take a look in our gallery to see what else has been happening in our world.
