Saturday With The Stars: September 2013 Templatetopia

Welcome to another wonderful weekend, Trixie fans. If you missed it somehow, yesterday September 2013 Templatetopia was released. I always get so excited to see each month’s new templatetopia and this months didn’t let me down. I’m loving all the multiple photo templates that are part of this months selection. There’s also some great 2 pagers, which have such a nice design that they could be used as a 1 pager as well. Take a look.

Let’s first take a look at the 2 page layouts some of our stars created:

Kris went right to work and also used Trixie’s Newest Kit that is part of September Scrap Pack over at Scrap Stacks. The papers Kris used on this layout compliment her photos nicely without overwhelming the page. I love that she was able to use a word art for her title and that’s all that was needed.

Bree’s layout about her sons first soccer game is beautiful. I love that every photo is matted with a different color of cardstock. I also like that her title is done with two different alphas. Using a white paper for her background allowed her to use a few different patterned papers in her layout without it all clashing.

For those of you who enjoy creating one page layouts more, let’s take a look at a few layouts our stars did with the one page templates in this months pack.

I love the bold colors in Stacy’s layout, it helps bring a fun tone to her page. I like that her clusters all include the same elements and the way she arranged her title. One thing I really like about this template, and Stacy’s layout is that some of the clusters are kind of hidden behind the photo. I also love that she used a kit not specifically meant to be used in a layout like this.

Shauna’s page is fun and quickly brings you in with the fun pics of her dogs. I love that she chose a kit that matched the blanket from her photos and that she stuck with that color scheme. You can never go wrong using a tag for journaling and I am always amazed with the quality of Shauna’s clusters.

The template Laina used for her layout is a great one. I love the way the circles make everything more uniform and helps bring everything together. I’ve always liked when photos aren’t necessarily straight and this template does that with every photo. Laina also put together some amazing clusters.
