Daily Deal for October 21st - Remembering You

That said, I’m here to make sure you know about today’s Daily Deal. For just $1 today, you can purchase my “Remembering You” kit… only through the end of tonight! This kit has a special place in my heart because I created it in honor of my late father-in-law, Marvin (Erick’s stepdad). Marvin and I had a special relationship… he was one of the first people in my husband’s family who readily accepted me as “one of his own” and he always made me feel special. I loved his jovial smile, his laugh, and his complete selflessness when it came to his family. Marvin suffered a traumatic brain injury after falling down and hitting his head in July of 2011. I sat vigil at his hospital bed for many hours in the coming months, willing him to come back to us, and for a brief while, it seemed he might. But, aside from the brain injury, he had some other health complications which really stacked the deck against him. He became septic and eventually succumbed to the complications. I still miss him all the time and since we just marked the two year anniversary of his passing last week, I wanted to honor him by including the kit he inspired in my anniversary celebration. It is my hope that when you use this kit, you will remember your loved ones who have passed on with as much fondness as I remember Marvin.
