Hello all you Trixie fans out there. I hope your Saturday is treating you well. This week we have another awesome kit to showcase as well as some terrific layouts from our Stars.
The kit we are showing off today is called, Ghoul School. It’s a collab kit and a terrific one. I was seriously chomping at the bit to get this kit made and to scrap with it. If you’ve got anyone in your life that loves all things Monster High, this is a kit you need to have. Take a look.
I’ll admit it, I’m a bit of a fan of Monster High myself and this kit fits the theme wonderfully. I love that the colors of the kit are the same as the characters and all the fun character elements. Even if you’re not into the whole Monster High thing, this kit works wonders for other Halloween type layouts. This kit is full of possibilities. Take a look…
MK starts us off and proves that this kit can work beautifully for Halloween themed layouts. I love that she kept her layout to the two colors in her daughters costumes. (Can I also mention I love that she was able to get both girls to dress the same?) I also like the way she stitched different papers together to give it the look of a piratey outfit. She has some great clusters going on and she chose a great pirate-type font for her title.
Lori also helps prove that this kit works for a Halloween themed page. She was able to create a layout that is very gender neutral. I love her choice of elements and the placement of her papers. I also like that the black background helps draw your eye to the photo instead of anywhere else.
Stacey was able to use this kit for a birthday party invite, with a Monster High theme. I love the placement of elements on this invite. I love that the invite information is done in the alpha included in the kit. She also used the banner element and wrote her own words on it.
Shauna and Carrin win the prize for using this kid in a non-traditional way, though.
You can’t help but laugh along looking at Shauna’s page. I love that Shauna took the phrase ‘Freaky Fabulous’ and made it work for picture she had. She also made use of a journaling tag. I love the way all the circled background papers look against the solid gray. Shauna has once again, also included some amazing cluster work.
Carrin chose to scrap about an age. I love the use of the @ symbol in her title. I also love the use of the glittered leaves and that everything is centered in this layout.
If you think Ghoul School is the kit for you, grab it, scrap with it and then share your layouts in our gallery. We never get tired of seeing them.
And remember, right now Trixie’s got two great deals going on to help celebrate her 5th anniversary. First of all, her entire store is 50% off now until October 22nd. She’s also got the option to “Buy My Store”. Both deals are great deals and won’t last long. Get them while you can.
