Saturday With The Stars: God Gave Me You

Welcome to another Saturday, Trixie Fans. We hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and we also hope that this weeks Saturday With The Stars will bring a smile to your face and inspiration to your souls.
A brand new kit was released at GingerScraps a few days ago and it is a beautiful one. It is called God Gave Me You.

I love the calm feeling I get when I look at this kit and I am imagining all the wonderful layouts I can create with this kit. I love all the color combos that are possible with this kit. You can create monochromatic layouts as well as multi-colored layouts. I also like that this kit can be used for so many different occasions and/or people in your life. Let’s look at what some of our Stars felt inspired to create with this kit.

Stacey felt inspired to create a page with a family photo. I like that the photo is the same in both the blended photo and the framed photo. I like the layered papers Stacey worked with as well as her clustering. She kept a clean feel to her page by using a very simple title, but a title that speaks volumes.

Shauna went with a photo of a little sweetie for her layout. I am always in amazement of Shauna’s cluster work and this layout doesn’t disappoint. Shauna made great use of white space and I love the fun little stitches in each of the corner. Her black and white photo add to the beauty of the kit and I like that she used a circled frame along with a circle journaling tag.

Helen also chose to scrap her little sweetie. Her page is full of beautiful ribbons. I like that Helen made use of both alphas and journaling tags for her layout. I also like the photo stack she included. Helen also has some beautiful little clusters.

Jan went a different route and used it to scrap her pet. Such a wonderful idea. I love her choice of papers. She too has some great cluster work going on and I love that both her photos are matted in slightly different ways. The font used for her journaling and part of her title just add to beauty of this layout.

Finally, Kris used this kit in much the same way I envision using it. A beautiful layout about a sweet baby girl. I am loving the page design with this layout and all the papers incorporated into it. Kris also has some wonderful cluster work going on and I love that she included the date tag as part of her cluster.
