I love when people are able to give old things new life, like all those people that are able to flip houses or refurbish furniture. Always amazed by it. The same can be said with scrapbooking kits. Recently Trixie and Connie Prince (North Meets South Studios) decided to re-release a kit by the name of Autumn Spice.

My eyes are instantly drawn to the purple in this kit, being that it’s my favorite color. I’m then drawn to the yellows. It’s almost as if this kit was made to please my eye. I’m also drawn to the stitching on the elements as well as the fun month wordarts.

Let’s see what kind of new life our Stars breathed into this kit…

Kris starts us out with a beautiful layout of a family photo. I absolutely love family photos, you can never go wrong there. She has a beautiful cluster surrounding her photo. I also love her choice of papers, she kept everything well balanced and it really draws the eye.

I love Jan’s layout with all the scenic type photos. She made great use of the banner that comes in the kit and worked some beautiful clusters into her page. I also enjoy all the various papers she was able to use.

MK has a beautiful layout. I love the symmetry of her page. I also like the way the black and white photo pops against the rest of the layout. She has a beautiful cluster surrounding her title and she added a fun little banner along the bottom of her page.

Jennifer used some family photos in the layout she did as well. I love all the fun stacked papers. I also like that she framed the family photo using a frame then added the pictures of the girls off to the sides. The stitches add a fun little bit to this layout.

Finally we’ll take a look at Lori’s layout. I am in love with her photo. It makes me smile. Such a great photo of playing in the leaves. She also stacked her papers in a beautiful way and I love that she used the FALL banner as her title. She was also able to incorporate lots of ribbons on her layout and finished it off with some beautiful clusters.
