Let’s talk about boys. They are everywhere. I’m sure you know at least a couple (even if they’re in a man’s body)…Well, one of Trixie’s newest kits is dedicated to them. It’s called Blue Jean Boy.

If you love the look of denim, you’ll love this kit. It’s full of elements with a denim look and feel. It has a fun color palette and plenty of elements that scream busy, busy boy. As a mom to 4 boys this kit will be quite useful to me.

But here’s a look at what some of our Stars did using this fun, boyish kit.

Shauna once again grabbed me in with her clustering. Just look at it, amazing. I also like her stacked papers and the way she used the cardstock – she placed her photo and elements in that middle circle. To make her title easy and quick, she used a word art and it works perfectly.

I love the photo Carrin chose to use. Her boys eyes totally draw you in. Apparently her son helped her with her layout and while he was upset about the flowers, he’s quite proud of the title. Carrin has some great clusters on her layout as well. I really like the way she did her title. She used a word art, a tag and an alpha – great combination. She also used one of the masks for her photo. Perfect masculine page, in spite of the flowers.

One of our newest Stars, Berniek, did a 2 pager. I love the denim background paper and then the split paper with her title and journaling. Berniek combined a few of the alphas for her title and it works perfectly with her layout. I also love the photos she included in her layout.

MK also layered her papers, which is always pleasing to me. She also got creative and doubled up the frame that comes in the kit to make it work for 6 photos. She made great use of word art and an alpha for her title. And did you notice the paint splatters in the background?

Can’t find pictures of boys to scrap? Stacy has your answer. She’s only got one little girl, but she didn’t let this kit deter her. She used this kit to scrap her daughter donating to Locks of Love. I love that she found a way to make this kit work for her. I love the paint splatters on the page and her use of the denim frame.
