Saturday With The Stars: A Life That's Good

I can’t believe it’s November already, but at least it started on a weekend. This week’s Saturday With The Stars is all about A Life That’s Good.

A Life That’s Good was released as part of the November Buffet at Ginger Scraps. The color palette is again, one that is pleasing to the eye. There are so many fun elements in this kit as well, including my personal favorite – word art. This kit is full of fun patterns as well, I really like the gingham that comes in the papers and ribbons.

Now let’s get to showing you some awesome layouts that our Stars made with this kit.

Do you like layouts with white space? Kris did an excellent job with her layout when it comes to white space. I really like that she made her photo black and white because it helps draw your eyes to her photo. She bordered her photo quite well with ribbons and other elements.

Stacey’s layout is amazing. It totally looks like a framed picture/keepsake type thing. Her shadowing is what makes her cardstock look like a picture frame. I like that she grouped all her photos together and used a simple word art for her title.

Kassie’s layout is a wonderful way to scrap a family photo. I love the use of stitching on this layout, and just look at her beautiful clusters. I am dying over them. I also like that Kassie recolored her word art to fit her layout a bit more.

Carrin is getting a jump on the year and scrapping her calendar for the upcoming year. I love her beautiful page for November. I like the contrast between the black and white photo and the colored photo. I also like the ribbons running up the side and the stacked papers.

Finally, let’s take a look at Helen’s page. I am loving the mixture of ribbons and paper strips behind her photo. She has some wonderful clusters on her page as well and I like the way she did her title. She added extra dimension by adding some stitching on her layout as well.
