Only one week to prep for Easter. Who’s ready? I’m so not, but oh well. Looking at some fun layouts our Stars made with this weeks kit should make me feel like I’ve accomplished something. Even if it’s just getting the kit so I can scrap some nice layouts when Easter’s over.
This week we’re taking a look at the more spiritual side of the holiday with Day of Grace.
Again, I am loving this color palette. The soft, subdued colors make for great background for Easter clothing layouts. There’s a lot of religious type elements in this kit, but enough non-religious elements as well to make this kit very versatile. There’s so many flower elements packed into this kit as well, so beautiful.
Here’s what some of our Stars did using this kit.
Carrin made a beautiful layout featuring some close-ups of her beautiful daughter. Wonderful use of white space and her clusters are beautiful.
Stacey shows us that this kit can be used in a non-traditional way as well as having a beautiful layout without using the religious elements in this kit. Her clustering around her photo is amazing.
Shauna also used this kit in a non-traditional way. I love all the papers she included on this layout as well as her fun little tag.
Jennifer has another non-traditional layout. I love the design on this one. Such fun photos and Jennifer also has some very pretty clusters.
Stacy takes us out to today with a more traditional use of this kit. Though it isn’t Easter related, you can see that this kit can lend itself to religious layouts quite nicely. Absolutely loving the layered papers and the cross tucked in there as well as a smaller photo. I also like that she made a quick little note of the date on the photo.
So what are some ways you can make Day of Grace work for you? Figure it out and then come on over to the gallery and show us.
