Baby It's Cold Outside with Frosted Windowpanes

November is almost over, and baby it has gotten cold outside. I love pictures of snow (more than I like real snow) and finding that perfect kit to scrap them is always fun. Trixie’s kit Frosted Windowpanes is one of those great kits for snow pictures. Ok, it is good for lots of layouts, snow, holiday and so much more. The color combination of teal, brown and cream is elegant, and the kit is a mix of shabby and sparkly. Just look at the preview of the kit, I love that it has wonderful flowers, and glittery snowflakes.

Now let me show you some layouts that me and my fellow Stars created using this kit. First up is one created by Mary Kate, and she has some great layering on this page. Plus look at how she used the glitter snowflakes. Who doesn’t love a glitter snowflake.

Next is a layout by Stacy, using the cutest photos of her daughter. I love the clusters Stacy created, and her title work is awesome. The glitter sprig is probably my favorite element in the kit, it just adds great depth and sparkle to a layout.

Now for a page by Jennifer that just makes me laugh. The main photo is just too funny. It also shows some of the great papers/cardstock/plaids that are also available. I find myself drawn to plaid papers and Trixie does some great ones.

And last is a layout by Shilo and I think it might be my favorite. She used a “winter” kit for a different type of page, which is always fun. Now her daughter is beautiful and that smile makes me smile, but what I really love about this page is her paper layering.
