December 26th – Boxing Day

Happy Boxing Day to our friends in the north! For those of you (like me!) who have no idea what Boxing Day is, let me explain. Boxing Day is celebrated in the UK and Canada on December 26th. Traditionally, it is a time when employers give their employees gifts in small boxes. Many people have the day off for Boxing Day and will visit stores who start their annual sales on Boxing Day. I have always been one to go out shopping on the day after Christmas to try and catch some great deals. That is definitely a holiday I can support!
