Special Request Sunday Winner
And the winner is….
STACEY
Stacey was the only one that commented last month and so she is our lucky winner. Stacey had some great resolutions and for some great reasons too. I love that she mentioned not only losing weight as a resolution, but to gain back some strength as well. Here’s what she wrote:
Prima Ballerina is a wonderful kit to choose. It’s perfect for those little ballerina’s and/or dancers in your life. Beautiful pages are a guarantee with this kit.
Stacey, please submit a help ticket here. In your ticket, please include your email address along with a note saying you won the Special Request Sunday Prize for January 25, 2015. We will then be able to send you your prize.
February’s Special Request Sunday Question
We all know February is the month of love and everyone is so focused on gifts for their signifigant other, or on what gift they hope to recieve from that special someone. But what I really want to know is what place did you fall in love with as a child and do you still love it like you used to?
When I was a kid, I was in love with France. I had never been there and neither had anyone I ever knew, but I had this longing to be there. It started because I had to take a foreign language in Jr. High and did NOT want to follow in my older sister’s footsteps. My school offered three choices: French, Spanish and German. Because my sister took Spanish, it was crossed off quickly. I always thought German was an ugly language (sorry, it’s my opinion) and so that left me with French.
I loved the language and soon grew to love the beauty and artistry that seemed to accompany France. However, I soon discovered a greater love and heard some not so great things about France. I’d still like to visit France someday, but somehow my new love has become Holland. Go figure.
So what places are you just totally in love with and has it always been that way?

I have always wanted to visit Spain. I took Spanish in high school and that is where the love developed. I live vicariously through a friend who visits there yearly.
In keeping with the month of love, theme, I would love to win Just One Kiss. I love Trixie Scraps’ flowers and this kit is no exception.
Thank you so much for the chance to win!!

I have always loved San luis Obispo in California! My great-grandfather lived there and we would visit him – and once he passed, my grandparents would take me during the summers. I remember the sand dunes…and the cooler weather…and the Kon Tiki Inn (where we would stay – which is still there!). I have yet to take my kids, but it is definitely someplace I long to go to.
OH…and I would love your “It’s His Birthday” kit! Thanks for the chance to win!

Thank you so much! i’m so excited, to have one last month! YAY!!!!
I’m originally from Hawaii, born and raised as were my parents and grandparents. I’ve always loved my home, but love it even more now that I’ve lived on the mainland for 15yrs now. I wish I could afford to move back, but it’s just too expensive. I have a ton of family still there, and I miss them so much. I also miss the food which I can’t get here. Of course the beautiful landscaping I miss also. I always get nostalgic when I see shows that feature the islands, and the locals speaking pidgeon english. When I say home I don’t mean here I mean there. I’d love to win her Tuscan Fall kit which is super gorgeous. thanks so much for the chance.

I would love to see Italy. There is something so romantic about it. Not to mention that my grandparents immigrated here from Italy. I think that would be a trip of the lifetime.
I’d love to win Blue Skies. Thanks for the chance.

The place I fell in love with as a child was the woods behind my grandma’s house. It was the place where we took many nature walks, went on hunts for bugs and flowers for science projects, and my sister and I built houses out of yarn and sticks and played for hours with our baby dolls. There are so many memories attached to those woods. And I still love it today, as I watch my kids and their cousins run and play in those woods just like I always did. : )
I would LOVE to win the kit, Prima Ballerina! (Although I also LOVE Blue Jean Boy…it’s so hard to pick! I love all the kits at Trixie Scraps!) I have a little ballerina and MANY pictures of her to scrap. The kit is beautiful and perfect. Thanks so much for the chance to win!

I love Hawaii … I have cousins there & was able to visit them twice; the last time was 15 years ago. I’m not too crazy about the humid climate but I love the ‘island’ feeling; so carefree & laidback. Love the wonderful food, too! I would so love to visit again someday.
Thanks for the chance to win a request — I like Social Butterfly; it’s a fun kit!
