Hello all, welcome everyone, today I’m giving you a recipe to challenge you. Like my play on words, rather than a recipe challenge, I thought I would switch it up a little. I love recipes for both cooking and scrapbooking, but sometimes I feel the need to add a little something or take a little something away. So if you feel that way today, I’m ok with it.
The Recipe
3-4 papers…use one for a background and then layer the others to your taste
2-3 pieces of string, ribbon or tape…add to the mix
3-10 flowers/greenery/element…go wild if you want, or keep it minimal, you know what you love
2-3 photos…pick something that makes you smile
1 word art…I love using word art on a page, and Trixie’s kits have some great ones
Title using 2 alphas…mix them from the same kit or different one, I love the look of two alphas together
Now mix everything together and put it in the oven at 350…ohhh wait wrong recipe. Mix it all together on the page and journal and date as you wish.
My Page
I made a page showing my buddy pal, who can sometimes me more trouble than he is worth. Ok not really, I do love him even when he is getting into things he shouldn’t. This is my dog Hollywood…well my nephew’s dog, but they both live with me. He loves to lay on me and my sister in the evenings, even if it means climbing up under the quilt I have on my lap. He is a good dog, just a big bundle of energy.
The Kit Used
I used Blue Jean Boy Value Bundle, because I really love the colors in this kit. It is so perfect for boy layouts (even boy dog ones), but it has flowers and buttons, and so much more. I really love the extra papers with this one, because the patterns are cool, like the one I used for the background on my page.
Now it is time for you to get scrapping and create a page using my tasty recipe. And if you use Trixie Scraps products and upload your layout to the gallery, you will get a chance for a prize and been seen in the Sunday Show-Offs.
