Hello again, readers, and welcome to another Challenge Thursday! One of our favorite things to do here on our team blog is to challenge, inspire and encourage you to complete more pages! This is a very special challenge because it is our Wild Card Challenge! Boy, are you going to have an adventure this week!
Wild Card Challenge: Choose Your Own Adventure!
I love a good adventure, don’t you? Heck, aren’t you taking an adventure just trying your hand at this challenge? I think you are! Since an adventure can sometimes be any new experience that had some ups-and-downs, I want to challenge you to scrap a layout that tells a true story about an adventure you have had. I want to know what this adventure has taught you – maybe it was a particularly tough one that in some way taught you a lesson you needed to learn. Maybe a scrapping a silly adventure is more up your alley. Whatever it is, be creative! As an added challenge, I would like you to pick from these five options below…
- 2 photos OR 4 photos
- 5 papers OR 3 papers
- Title with just an alpha OR title with an alpha and a font
- White space OR full page
- Template OR no template
You can add on whatever else you’d like, but you must choose from these five options.
Inspiration Layout
I chose a silly adventure for my layout. Earlier this month, my brother-in-law brought over his tent and set it up on our backyard. The twins were so excited to be able to sleep out there with their uncle. I was amazed at how late they slept in (for them!) and that no one ended up coming back into the house other than to use the bathroom. When they did finally come in the house, we heard some silly stories about sleepwalking and using the bathroom in the tent! I’d say they had a pretty funny adventure out there! I used Nature Boy by North Meets South Studios (Trixie Scraps and Connie Prince).
I chose the following options:
- 2 photos
- 3 papers
- Title with an alpha and font
- Full page
- No template
