Welcome to another Fonts We Love Friday! I love when I get the chance to write this blog post because it gives me a reason to search out some fantastic fonts. I am always partial to handwriting type fonts, but this time I went for something a little more classic. This month, I am showcasing DJB Holly Typed. It is slightly quirky, but totally versatile typewriter font.
I love that this font isn’t the typical typewriter-based font. It still has a bit of character, especially in slant on some of the rounded letters.
DJB Holly Typed Sample Layout
Here is a layout I made using the font and the North Meets South Studios Sailor Duck collaboration kit. It’s not everyday that the friends who live inside my computer come out to play. When myself and fellow Scrap Star Mary Kate found out that we would both be visiting the Tall Ships event along the Camden, NJ and Philadelphia, PA waterfronts, we decided to meet up. It was a fantastic day!
Thanks for visiting the blog today. I hope this font is something you might like in your collection and maybe even use on a layout or two. Have a great weekend!
