It’s Challenge Thursday, and this week’s challenge is photo related!
How many pictures do you have on your phone or camera of fun family activities, group gatherings, generations, hanging out by the pool/lake/beach, everyday activities….? Now. How many of the photos are you in????
Maybe you’re waiting to get in better shape. Maybe you don’t like getting your picture taken. Maybe today you’re not happy with your hair. Or you don’t know how to work the timer on your phone/camera. Whatever your excuse is, stop making them and get in that photo!
When you find an old photo of your mom or grandma or favorite aunt, do you think her hips are too big, her hair wasn’t perfect, she wasn’t posed good enough? Or do you think, what a treasure this photo is. I’m so lucky to have this and I wish there were more.
While we’re busy making memories this summer, be part of capturing those memories. When you look back next year, or your kids find these photos in 20 years, be a part of them. Memories fade, but photos last. They capture moments that we ALL are part of and prove we were here. Be in those photos!
My family photo:
I was so lucky to have relatives visit from out of state and all the generations had so much fun catching up. I didn’t think to bring my tripod when I left the house that morning so I set up my camera on the grill, set the timer and got in that photo!! I used the Siblings are Forever collection for my page.
Show us your pages and link us up to your gallery posts in the comments section! Now get out there and get in those summer photos!
