Welcome to another Friday on the Trixie Scraps blog, it’s good to see you. Today we have another fun font to share with you.
The things I wanted for today’s font were fairly simple. I wanted it to coordinate with the kit’s alpha and it needed to be legible when used for journaling. I also wanted an outdoorsy/masculine not so perfect font. I found my way to dafont.com and came across Pirate’s Bay.
I loved that it had the eroded look and that it wasn’t perfectly straight. I also liked that a few of the letters were formed the same way as the kit’s alpha.
You can download the font here.
Pirate’s Bay Layout Example
Now, my layout has absolutely nothing to do with pirates, but it just goes to show that this font has many uses. I scrapped a page about a recent hike we took and used the kit Nature Boy.
How would you use this font? We’d love to see the many different ways. So download Pirates Bay, scrap your hearts out and then upload your layout to the gallery (in the Fall) so we can see your work.
***Our gallery is currently down, but we do expect it to be up and running sometime in the Fall, so hold on to those layouts and let us see all those layouts when the weather cools down.***
