Happy Thursday! It’s time for another challenge. It’s been awhile since we have done a photo challenge where you attempt to change up the photo itself in order to make a creative scrapbook layout. So, today I am going to challenge you to change at least one photo into a sketch. In order to make that easier for you, I went looking for people who did this for their scrapbook pages. I know of at least 2 different ways to do this, but then stumbled across this tutorial on The Digital Press blog. I was amazed at how simple Kacy made this idea come to life in Photoshop.

Sketch Photo Challenge

What I want you to do is use the tutorial to make your photo into a sketch and then incorporate that sketch into your layout.

Here is what I did with the challenge.  I used Trixie’s kit, If The Slipper Fits.

I am still working on Disney albums and have really wanted to make my own cover, so this was a perfect challenge for me. I hope this challenge is also one you enjoy and broadens your creative abilities with scrapping in the future.
