Hello all, I’m Shauna and today it is time for a family photo challenge. The challenge is not hard, it is simply to create a page using Trixie Scrap’s products and the photos need to be of a family. Now families come in all shapes and size, so it can be you and your significant other, you and your kids, you and your dog, or even as on my layout, a friend’s family. You can have as many photos as you like, as long as at least one of them depicts the family.

For my layout I used photos I took recently of a friend’s family. For them, they learned how important family photos are when they lost their father/husband and found they had almost no group photos of them all together. So let me encourage you to always remember to take some photos with everyone in the picture. I know I’m guilty of staying behind the camera too often. I decided to used a group shot and then individual photos of the kids.

Now the kit I used is Best Day Ever.  I picked it for the fall colors, but also because it is one of my go to kits. It is packed with great elements that make a page come together very quickly. Also the is just something about the papers in the kit that call to me over and over again. Here is a linked preview of the kit.
